Local Filmmakers Night features Chuck Johnson’s The Humboldt Live Sessions

On Wednesday, March 2nd, at the Eureka High School Lecture Hall, Local Filmmakers Night screening series will present a collection of music videos by local filmmaker and musician, Chuck Johnson.

Chuck’s career in the audio/visual industry has led him to team up with clients such as The Library of Congress, The Smithsonian Institute, Grammy Award-winning composers and scores of local musicians.

He has spent the last several years producing The Humboldt Live Sessions, a live music video series shot on location throughout Humboldt County. To read more about the filmmakers visit filmhumboldtdelnorte.org or accesshumboldt.net.

Local Filmmakers Night - a collaboration between Access Humboldt, Humboldt-Del Norte Film Commission and Eureka High School Media Club - is a screening series that supports and promotes the local film community, and offers an inside look at the filmmaking process by encouraging the filmmakers to share their insight and experiences.

Following the screening, attendees can enjoy Q & A session, movie trivia, prizes, and a reception at the adjacent Access Humboldt's Community Media Center. 

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Screening starts at 7 p.m. Admission is $5 per person. All ages are welcome to attend.
